An open-ended exploration of the relationship between grief, embodiment and spirituality. By nature, loss changes our perspective on life and death, and can often lead to an opening, deepening or awakening of a connection to something greater, a shift in our personal conception and experience of spirituality. I'm interested in the role of embodiment in this process. This podcast includes personal anecdotes from my own experience of grieving and guiding embodied grief processing for others as well as interviews with others who are walking their own grief path. May it nourish you deeply.

What becomes possible when we make a practice of sitting with and stepping through the void/wreath of grief

Grief Chats with Friends #1: Bowing to the tide of soulsation with Morgan Mitchell

Grief Chats with Friends #1: Bowing to the tide of soulsation with Morgan Mitchell

In this sweet conversation with my dear soul sister Morgan, we dive into:

the holiness of holding something that’s painful
the way that grief quiets the self and expands the senses and literal physiology
the surrender that grief demands and the growth towards vulnerability, growth and connection to the collective suffering that this surrender allows when it is given the space to move
the sisterly currents of grief and creativity-both carry God, and are a source of inner guidance that she continues to court
how her journey with physical pain tested her relationship to spirit and how she found her way back the elastic malleability of this lifelong relationship
the way that physical pain and grief work as sharpening agents and clarify other relationships
and how daily dipping in the cold Maine ocean grew her capacity to be with discomfort

The Dead Grieve Too with Tina Erwin

The Dead Grieve Too with Tina Erwin

Tina is passionate about being a Ghost Helper: Teaching the Living to Help the Dead®.
She wants to empower us all to help all ghosts: this is the compassion we will want for
ourselves, by using The Crossing Over Prayer© on GhostHelpers.com and in “The
Crossing Over Prayer Book©.” When a psychic only connects to a dead person, the
ghost does not receive the critical assistance they desperately need. Tina has studied
metaphysics all her life, gaining insight into the mystical world of magic and spirituality.
The author of eight books on metaphysics, her writing comes from an intense desire to
know and understand the hard science behind the unseen world of action and reaction
combined with a sincere desire to share this understanding with other knowledge
seekers. Her lifelong studies into the deeper meaning of events and actions were further
enhanced by the experiences of a dynamic 20-year career in the Navy, working for the
U.S. Submarine Force, retiring at the Commander level.

Rich, Soulful, Spacious and SO Important

Grief and death are fundamental aspects of life, yet so often our culture tries to ignore, fix or rush the process. It was a true pleasure to connect with Grace and sink into an embodied experience of bereavement.

These are conversations we all need to be having way more of… How to show up for our bodies and hearts in the midst of loss. How to embrace our unique way of grieving. Coming to acceptance for our own journey. Learning to lean in and love our way through it.

Thank you Grace for creating space for this essential dialog and helping us to be present to our body’s wisdom and truth.
