Dr. Bojana Jankovic Weatherly was born in Serbia, a part of the former Yugoslavia. As war and civil unrest broke out from its dissolution, she migrated to Canada in her early teens. She studied medicine in Vancouver and while pregnant during her residency at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, she developed an interest in evidence-based integrative and functional medicine as a means to support her traditional medicine training.
