    BTT EoW 4.98: Commentary 23

In this commentary episode, we talk about the longevity of this campaign and joke about new things we could throw in to the mix. We also talk about some of the ways we have used collaborative storytelling to bring about this long standing, epic, tragic opera of a campaign.

    BTT One-Shot: Shadowrun, Ep. 3

Escape from a lab, a long dark hallway, disappearing dwarves, a room full of body bags, an armory raid, and approaching footsteps... Believe it or not, all this is the characters starting to put the pieces together. But do the pieces actually fit, or are they just an illusion. We see signs of one mistaken identity already.

With a fearless duo reunited, they square off against a Council Member. Elemental powers fly around everywhere, and it appears that the end is near for one character. Luckily, there is a way that the rest of the group can connect from afar. But will they be lucky enough to reach them in time?

    BTT One-Shot: Shadowrun, Ep. 2

The adventure begins mid-mission. But none of the characters have any clue of where they are, how they got there, or what they can do, let alone what they are actually supposed to do. Just as they start to make some head-way, gaining vital info and an objective, one character makes a poor choice and things are bound to get ugly. To be fair, this player did say they were doing to mess things up in the previous episode.

It seems as though the group was a bit more separated than originally thought. An unlikely duo attempts to team up for a daring rescue... of themselves. Confused yet? Hold on tight and try to keep up as we blow the top off of the final half of this season.

Great real play podcast

Great story telling and creative RPGs that don’t use the trendiest systems. A breath of fresh air!

A fun listen

I’ve been listening over the episodes of this show, and I think it’s great. These guys obviously spend a lot of time thinking about character and how the story can come from their interaction. You can really see how story games like Fiasco influences their play style in that way. Really fun to hear those sessions from their convention experiences!

“Terra Proximus” is a blast. In addition to the ongoing story line, the flashback episodes add some depth to the characters’ backstories.

I’m glad to see the show return with new episodes. I can’t wait to hear what happens on “Angel’s Guard.”
