On this podcast we talk about the movies and books that we love, what draws us to them, and how they make us think. Each month we focus on one theme and pick two movies per week that fit a variation of that theme. Since this is the Book Lover’s movie club we are also reading a book each month that works with the monthly theme.

In this episode, Kim and Sara dive into some of their favorite films of the early 2000s for a much needed bit of levity. They chat about O Brother, Where Art Thou? from 2000 and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind from 2004 and marvel at how these two films were passed over for best picture Oscar nominations. Utterly absurd!
