#31: Fairytale Favorites - “The Snow Queen” by Hans Christian Andersen in honor of Frozen 2

#31: Fairytale Favorites - “The Snow Queen” by Hans Christian Andersen in honor of Frozen 2

Can we say something crazy? This is one of those cases where the movie was better than the book. Hans Christian Anderson’s original fairy tale, The Snow Queen, has all of the classic fairy tale elements but Disney brought the pixie dust. Winter is a good time to stay in and cuddle with a good fairytale story and a Disney movie, so to celebrate the theatrical release of Frozen 2, hosts Courtney and Emily compare Anderson’s original fairy tale to Disney’s blockbuster hit Frozen and its latest sequel.

Want Greater Focus on Disney History Books

With so many outstanding books released lately that focus on Disney history, I’d love to hear those authors (Didier Ghez, J.B. Kaufman, and others) featured on future podcasts.

*updated. I left one of the first reviews when your show debuted and I’ve loved listening for the last year!!! This show just keeps getting better and better. Their personal experience working in the Disney College Program helps just give a little more background. Here’s to year 2!!!
