How to transform your life through empowerment

How to transform your life through empowerment

"Negative, positive or neutral - which energy are you?" This is the question you should be asking yourself and reflect on if you want to transform your life and become more empowered. It is also one of the main concepts discussed in the book "The Science of Empowerment," by today's podcast guest Laura Brennan Ballet, author of the book and teacher of the formula J3=E.

Laura openly shares how she was able to put this formula into practice during her own journey of transformation and how it all started at her wedding when her brother, former US olympics gymnastics coach James Christopher Brennan, said to her "come on, it's time." And by that, he meant, it's time to work together. This is when their magical partnership began and Laura found the inspiration to write her book.

This episode is full of wisdom, passion and principles for leading a more empowered life. Tune in and let us know what resonated the most.

    Highlights

It's never too late to transform and feel totally empowered
Without self trust it is a deeper challenge to trust out in the world
Self awareness and connectivity are key
    Release blame and judgement
    Trust your inner wisdom

    About Laura Brennan Ballet

In addition to being the author of the incredible book "The Science of Empowerment," Laura supports her brother Christopher, founder of JEKL, to maximize people’s mental, emotional, and physical potential. The program is predicated on principles that link mind and body with one’s energy.  This is achieved by implementing neuromuscular bodyweight gymnastics conditioning, which is also a catalyst for the Reticulating Activation System, which ultimately effects the brain’s plasticity. As a JEKL 10’s and JEKL FLEX instructor, Laura is able to apply Chris' formula and the principles from her book to help guides clients towards empowerment.

Finding trust in yourself after heartbreak and divorce

Finding trust in yourself after heartbreak and divorce

It took a marriage of 12 years to fall apart for Kristina to realize it was time to start trusting herself.

In this episode, I talk to Kristina Krykhtin, a boss mama of two pursuing her passions as a real estate agent for Signature 1 Lux Estates in South Florida. Get ready to be inspired by Kristina's story and how she was able to learn how to trust again after heartbreak. Her awakening started when she discovered her husband was leading a double life. Kristina's whole world came crashing down. After going through an extremely dark period, Kristina shares how she was able to discover strength and courage to start walking again.

We also talk about her life as a real estate agent, including the myths about what it takes to be selling luxury high end properties. At the heart of this conversation is the journey of what it takes to build relationships - whether it be with yourself, your partner, your kids or your clients. It requires us to tune into our bodies, to not be afraid to ask the tough questions or look at what is really starting back at us and then the persistence it then requires to get through whatever darkness comes our way in order to come out on the other side greater than before.

“Anyone going through a dark time is being primed for greatness”

Kristina is on a mission to help people. By sharing her story, she hopes she can give light to those who are experiencing pain similar to hers. Her dream is to be able to help people get closer to their truth and to grow by finding their confidence. This is truly a beautiful episode filled with so much vulnerability, laughter, authenticity and HOPE.

Romance, kids and a global pandemic - lessons learned

Romance, kids and a global pandemic - lessons learned

In honor of Valentine's Day, I wanted to share a special episode with you where I get real about the hardest lessons I've learned when it comes to romance, kids and working through challenging changes like a global pandemic. I discuss things like setting and maintaining BOUNDARIES, how to stop being OVERLY CRITICAL, neutralizing your EXPECTATIONS and balancing your FEMININE and MASCULINE energy.

I believe it's possible to find space for romance with little kids even in the middle of a major event like COVID-19. However, I can't promise it will be easy or that there is ONE quick fix. If there is anything I've learned after being with my partner for almost 9 years, it all boils down to being open to giving and receiving UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

To some this might sound cheesy, yet hear me out. I am not saying that there won't be moments where you feel everything but unconditional love for your partner. What I'm talking about is the INTENTION you have for your relationship. The intention stems from your MINDSET and it shapes your BELIEFS, VALUES, BEHAVIORS and ultimately what you SEE show up in your relationship. In short, I have learned to take 100% ACCOUNTABILITY for what I experience in my relationship. This is the REAL work. It is easier to blame the other person or highlight all their shortcomings, it is another thing to recognize your part. When both people are committed to unconditional love, it becomes a journey of finding a way to appropriately express and ask for what you desire (in the right tone and time) which requires a healthy balance of giving and receiving.

Tune in to hear more about my intentions when it comes to my relationship (including my fave mantra) and how my husband and I have been growing through this wonderful (and challenging) journey of parenting as partners. I hope this offers you new perspective as it pertains to your own relationships as well as ideas on steps you can take to create more romance despite any of the chaos going on around you.

How to Hustle Less and still Make Your Dreams Come True

How to Hustle Less and still Make Your Dreams Come True

Are you ready to hustle less and still make your dreams come true?

We are still in the very beginning of the year which means it's an excellent time to reflect and reevaluate where you are placing your focus and energy in order to achieve your dreams. So many people today are experiencing overwhelm, stress, health issues and even burn out. With information coming at us all day long, it increases the amount of choices we feel we need to make in our day, thereby decreasing our ability to focus, let alone diverting us from spending time with the most important person - ourselves.

It took a devastating miscarriage for me to wake up and realize that life is too short to be spending any of my time or focusing any of my energy on anything that doesn't ignite my passions, expand my mind or elevate my life (hence the tagline for Zielo Studio). In other words, hustle less and focus more on the things you value.

If you're ready to take back your power with your time and energy so you can feel more calm, confident, creative and empowered to manifest you dreams, I am here to help you! Tune into this episode where I take you through the formula I use for myself and my clients in order to achieve a hustle less approach and mindset while still kicking ass and creating your dream life.

Dream bigger: why and how to make your BIG dreams come true

Dream bigger: why and how to make your BIG dreams come true

    How big is your imagination?

If you're like most (including myself at one time), we prefer to play it small. Big dreams often scare us. It forces us to see beyond the limitations we have been hardwired to believe exist. Yet, people's big dreams come true all the time! So how is it possible? That is the mission I have been on for the last several years ever since leaving my Corporate position and jumping blindly into the Entrepreneur world. And now I am ready to share the five steps you can start using right now order to make your dreams come true with heart and soul. These are not only the steps I take but also how I coach my clients to expand their mindset and manifest their dreams.  I also share the story of what enabled me to dream bigger and why these big dreams are important for our mental health.

This episode is for anyone looking for proof and practical steps they can take to empower themselves and manifest their dreams. I am so humbled and grateful for the opportunity to share my experiences and methods with you. My big dream is that more boss mamas and female entrepreneurs not only go after their dreams but make them come true, proving to themselves that they are capable of anything they put their mind to but also paving the way for future generations to come.  When you break down your own barriers, it creates a beautiful domino effect for all those around you.
