Great characters, local flavor and history

I am looking forward to the continuation of Boston Harbor Horror. Enjoyable repartee, intriguing plot, local references, historical background and Coast Guard lingo provide multiple points of interest for the listener.

Hard pass

The audio production & sound design on this is just awful. It’s very amateur. The dialogue in cringe inducing, the voice acting is flat and wooden. Overall just an unpleasant experience.

Meh

Despite the recent quality of the audio production (some moments I definitely had to turn my speaker down for), the show failed to live up to my expectations as a writer and a coast-guardsmen. Some of the acting is a bit canned, but that mostly stems from the writing. There is very little to grab onto as far as character goes, and most everyone exists for the purpose of over-explaining things. I think the creators and writers have potential to really make something great with a bit of time taken to learn the fundamentals of character and storytelling.

But like I said, excellent audio production and sound design minus some iffy volume moments. Keep it up, keep learning and you’ll go far.
