    Dr. Donald Vega is a returning guest on our show! We recommend going back to check that episode out before listening to our episode today!  Dr. Donald Vega is a registered dietitian, strength and conditioning specialist and life-style mentor, and most importantly a husband and father, based in Costa Rica with more than 24 years of experience in health education. He is the founder of Kilosophy which was established with the vision: “To reverse the metabolic disease through a free, fit, happy and healthy society”. Dr. Vega specializes in low-carb, carnivore and keto lifestyles, and has helped over 11,000 patients to improve their lives and lose over 220,000 pounds of extra fat through their interventions in his clinics. He has been a TEDx speaker, and was also in charge of the nutritional counselling in the second season of the Reversed Reality Show, directed by our former podcast guest Charles Mattocks, who we hosted in episode 320 of Boundless Body Radio. Dr. Vega is also passionate about public speaking, coffee, wine, reading, stand up paddle surfing, cycling and resistance training. I met Dr. Vega at Keto Salt Lake and loved his inspiring presentation, and it was an honor to host him for part 1 of this interesting conversation!

Nicole has been a licensed mental health counselor in Washington state for over 15 years. Her current practice focuses on helping clients with anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues transition to a ketogenic diet or uses other nutritional therapies to complement their psychotherapy work. She holds several specialized training certifications, allowing her to work with underlying biological factors in mental illness. Nicole works with clients via telehealth, and helps people explore medication-free options for their mental health using research and evidence-based nutritional and functional psychiatry so that people can get their lives back without side effects or dependence on big pharma. In 2021, she created MentalHealthKeto.com, a blog devoted to educating people about ketogenic diets for mental health and neurological issues.     Tom Gaymor is a sports journalist and commentator, specializing in motor sports! Currently Tom is working in Formula One leading the commentary for F1 TV, and is also leading Sky Sports Indycar coverage, including anchoring the studio for the world-famous Indy 500. Starting out as a racing driver, Tom soon swapped the steering wheel for a microphone after injury. Although Tom is best known as a motorsport broadcaster, Tom has also broadcast at the last two Olympic Games, and for Premiership Rugby. Tom has a vast motorsport knowledge, having been involved in the sport for almost 30 years. He also works on a variety of events for Discovery/Eurosport including the Le Mans 24 Hours, and the World Endurance Championship, among others. In July 2011, Tom formed Tom Gaymor Consultancy Ltd (TGC) to bring all of his consultancy projects under one roof and to further create a professional platform from which to operate. TGC specializes in talent development, driver coaching, performance management and mentoring.

    Dr. Adrian Soto-Mota is a returning guest on our show! Dr. Adrian Soto-Mota is a MD (UNAM), PhD (Oxford) & Specialist in Internal Medicine (INCMNSZ) and Data Science (HarvardX researcher at the Unidad de Investigación de Emfermedades Metabólicas! Dr. Soto-Mota is passionate about studying low carbohydrate and ketogenic diets, and how they impact human metabolism. Dr. Soto-Mota earned his MD from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and earned his Ph.D. at Oxford. He has created many resources to help people successfully implement a low carbohydrate diet, and provides that help for both English and Spanish speaking individuals. He is the co-author of a 2022 paper titled The Lipid Energy Model: Reimagining Lipoprotein Function in the Context of Carbohydrate-Restricted Diets, which was also co-authored by former guests Dr. Norwitz and Dave Feldman, who we hosted in episode 109 of Boundless Body Radio!

    Dr. Greg Potter is a British researcher who specializes in circadian biology, sleep, diet, and metabolism. Greg gained attention in the U.S. and Europe for his research into the importance of biological rhythms and sleep and how they affect people’s lives. His work has been featured in the BBC World Service, the Washington Post, Reuters and other scientific journals and news outlets. In addition to being a science writer and sleep consultant, Dr. Potter also is an entrepreneur who co-founded Resilient Nutrition in 2020, a company that leverages science to produce foods and supplements geared toward helping people feel and perform better. Greg earned undergraduate and master’s degrees in exercise science from Loughborough University in England, where he coached a sprinter to four gold medals at the European Championships, before heading off to the University of Leeds for his Ph.D. Greg has also worked with groups such as The United States Naval Special Warfare Command on health and performance optimization.

One of the best podcasts out there.

Casey is an amazing host and interviewer. He makes both the guests and listeners feel comfortable and asks the questions we all would like answers to. Do yourself a favor and go back to the beginning and listen to each episode. You will not waste a second by doing so. Keep up the great work casey and team !

Hosts voice hurts to listen to

The hosts voice is very very hard to listen to. I basically have to fast forward every part he speaks. Otherwise, the guests are great.
