What made Jesus and the early church so irresistible?
• Jesus allowed outsiders who were nothing like him to feel at home with him
Anyone you can look in the eye is someone made in God’s image and someone Jesus gave his life for.
• Everyone you come into contact with deserves to be treated as sacred.
People are not on a truth quest; they are on a belonging quest. The Christian community should be the most non-discriminatory, it-doesn’t-matter-to-us-who-you-are group of people on the planet.
