Branding Photographer For Entrepreneurs | Interview with Angela Divine Mastering B2B Marketing
-
- Business
In this podcast episode, Jesus McDonald interviewed Angela Divine, who has spent the last 10 years in the photography world. After completing her art degree, she worked for commercial photographers. She hated how "fake" everything felt, her bosses chuckled and said, "Welcome to the world of advertising." They encouraged her to shift gears to something more natural, so she began photographing weddings and portraits.
She established Angela Divine Photography in 2007, and after 10 years in the wedding industry, she once again felt the need to change directions. She started working with purpose-driven business owners who needed to look authentic online. As her brand photography business grew, her clients started asking her for more help with how to implement their photos to create an impact.
The Divine Group was officially launched in 2020 and serves purpose-driven brands who want to establish their online presence so their business can grow.
Outside of business, Angela is an avid hiker, camper, and driven by tacos. On her weekends off, you can find her with her partner and fluffy husky, Zelda, backpacking their way to a secluded campsite.
Talking points:
1. What inspired Angela to become an entrepreneur
2. How Angela went from being a photographer to running a full-service branding agency
3. How Angela adapted her business model during Covid-19
4. Angela’s ideal client
5. Advice and tips for entrepreneurs and marketing professionals
