Really thoughtful and nuanced

Alex conducts interviews in a deeply empathetic way, never just about a subject, but digging into the personal experience behind the thought ideas. Well tempered and considerate in a refreshing way, while offering up very interesting perspectives. And sleekly produced!

Can Religion Survive It’s Sin

Like the both of you, I too am wondering where the “church” is headed. I’m Catholic but want more than a retelling of the gospel. I need a path to walk in today’s pervasive war of words. In the last four years the banality of evil became human and little to nothing was done, (children at the borders separated from parents, racial injustice was exponentially disregarded, 1/6) because we didn’t know what to do. In the last year, we’ve seen a redirection of people asking for change. We turn to “church” for answers and are met with deafening silence. This has to end. Christ our brother and God our father have not directed us to this hate.
Michael, what you present in your homilies has great meaning with a fresh perspective. Thank you both.
