Blending the rebel-rousing ethos of Riot Grrrl lyrics with the dissonant tones of post-punk and new wave instrumentation, Groupie is a Brooklyn four-piece helmed by the frenetically passionate Ashley Kossakowski (vocals, bass) and Johanna Healy (vocals, guitar), who were first brought together by an unassuming Craigslist ad.  After harnessing their sound over two EPs, Groupie released their debut album 'Ephemeral,' in 2021, with ten tracks casting a critiquing eye on society and the self, musing on fleeting intimacy, isolation, and displacement inherent in city life.
