Brian interviews Joseph Gulesserian. Joseph is an entrepreneur in the CPG business and he has developed and brought brands to International markets. He is former professor of management studies where he taught corporate finance, statistics and post graduate marketing. He published the book "The Practical MBA on Economics - what they do and don’t teach you at business school”. He talks about AI, and the end days of democracy. Brian interviews Daniel Foch. Daniel is a housing expert and the host of the Canadian Real Estate Podcast. We discuss the five days of federal government housing announcements, the infrastructure money trying to cause cities to change their ways, CMHC financing, rental changes and generational inequity. We also discuss if this federal government’s change of heart relative to housing is enough to make a difference, or too late and too small or will it help motivate young people to support Trudeau.

Brian interviews Leonard Waverman. Dr. Professor Leonard Waverman, former Dean DeGroote School of business, talks about the crisis in Canadian prosperity. We discuss the lagging productivity, lack of innovation and capital investment, high taxes, unsustainable deficits, debt and red tape and what can/must be done. "Canada is doing miserably and has been failing to advance for at least a decade and even longer. That is why I am part of a new organization or new to Canada, one of the world's best think tanks on innovation in Washington called the ITIF, The Canadian centre for innovation and competitiveness. We are in a productivity and therefore innovation crisis in this country".

Brian interviews George Tavares. George is one of the by-election candidates for Mayor of Mississauga, that is not currently on council. He has a diverse background in Political Science, Canadian Indigenous Studies, Electronic Engineering Technology, Smart City Design, and Business Management, including International Business, which he feels equips him with the skills needed to tackle the current issues plaguing our city. He says he is well-versed in city governance and recognizes the importance of inclusivity in decision-making. I am concerned that non council candidates don’t have the same ability to get known so it’s a pleasure to interview George and try to give him some more exposure. We have an in-depth chat about some of the big issues facing Mississauga.

Brian interviews Nicolas Ruszkowski. Nicolas is founder of Tactix Government Relations and Public Affairs that represents some of the largest and most important brands, globally. Nic believes his TacTix AI enabled research model has unique deep learning capabilities. Given the Prime Minister's approach to rolling out key planks of his budget in advance this year, he thought it was a unique opportunity for him to show how the technology works, and how it can measure the course of significant public policy and political events in real time.

Brian interviews Hollay Ghadery. Hollay is an Iranian-Canadian writer living in Ontario. She has her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph. "Fuse", her memoir of mixed-race identity and mental health, was released by Guernica Editions (2021) and won 2023 The Canadian Bookclub Award for Nonfiction/Memoir. Her collection of poetry, "Rebellion Box", came out Radiant Press in 2023 and her collection of short fiction, "Widow Fantasies", is scheduled for release with Gordon Hill Press in fall 2024. She is a poetry editor with long con magazine, and a host of HOWL on CIUT 89.5 FM and the 105.5 HITS FM Bookclub. She is also the Poet Laureate of Scugog Township and the founder of River Street Writing, a boutique book publicity and author support services firm that’s known for its community building.
