Brock Built Homes Back on Radio with Company Updates and Insights Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio

    • Business

Director of Sales for Brock Built Homes, Trisha Howard, is welcomed back in studio for today’s episode of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Joined by co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick, Howard discusses new Brock Built Homes communities, an exciting partnership with Atlanta Mission and the impacts of COVID-19 (coronavirus) on the homebuilding industry on this All About Real Estate Segment of Radio.

Howard has over a decade of experience in the home building and real estate industry and is passionate about sales and sales training. Howard made it her mission to help her team reach personal and professional goals while changing families’ lives by helping them earn homeownership.

Founded in 1984 by Steve Brock, Brock Built Homes is a family-owned company, renowned in Atlanta for its Craftsman style homes and for pioneering untapped areas. In the 1990s, Brock Built Homes was the first company to invest in West Midtown and the company actively looks for more Atlanta areas to invest in.

Communities

Brock Built Homes has several beautiful communities that are currently selling in West Midtown, including West Town, West Highlands and West Side Station. Each community has its own perks, personality and offers spectacular prices. Brock Built Homes recently created a master-planned community in Castleberry Hill named Castleberry Station. Priced in the high $300,000s, the community is selling quickly.

Giving back

While building homes is what it is known for, Brock Built Homes always strives to give back to the community as evidenced by their recent partnership with Atlanta Mission. Atlanta Mission is building a new homeless shelter that will add almost 100 beds for homeless citizens in the area. Brock Built Homes helped Atlanta Mission acquire a bigger reach and gain more donations to break ground on the shelter by giving away a home to one lucky lottery winner.

“It’s not just about us improving the quality of our buyers’ lives, it’s about, how we improve the city of Atlanta and how we play our part and give back” said Howard. “In most of the homeless shelters today, there are certain requirements that prevent certain families from getting in. This is a low-barriers shelter that really opens up help for a whole new demographic. This was our chance to partner with them, so we gave them the home.”

COVID-19

Like every other socially conscious company during this time, Brock Built Homes has adjusted their processes and business plan in response to COVID-19. Howard discusses the changes she believes are here to stay in the industry.

“I think the biggest impact COVID has had on all of us is implementing tools that we use to help buyers shop differently,” said Howard. “It’s changed buyers’ shopping behavior permanently.”

Tools Brock Built Homes implemented that are permanent include options of virtual home tours, a website chat feature, virtual appointments and 3D video tours. Homebuyers are now using these tools as a first step in the home buying process, deciding what they like and ruling out options from the comfort of their own home.
