However, if you are someone who struggles to make or keep those resolutions at the New Year, then here's your permission to simply rest and wait for that kind of change when the timing is better. Tiny Tip: Flip the Switch

    Tiny Tip: Flip the Switch

These tiny tip are designed to give you one small thing you can do to be a better creator in your life. Each tip is inspired by the Law of Creation. Creation includes what we see, say, feel, and do, which leads to who we become. If you want a deep dive into the law of creation, check out my free course at brookesnow.com.

In my last episode we talked about how our connection to God is constant and unconditional. Even though our thoughts and actions can open or close our heart and mind, God is always there. Said another way, our thoughts and actions can turn us toward God or away from God, but once again, God does not ever leave us.

So what do you do when you find yourself totally closed off or turned away? What can you do to open back up again? I want to share with you one of the most important tools in my toolbox. I call it "flip the switch".

Your Connection To God is Constant and Unconditional

Your Connection To God is Constant and Unconditional

Today's podcast took an unexpected turn. I started out with one intent, but before I knew it I was really addressing a long held false belief. Or dare I say, maybe even a false doctrine? In the very least a misunderstood or mis taught doctrine? I'm getting on my soapbox here so buckle up!

I feel like I've been raised to believe that feeling connected to God or having the Spirit with me is conditional. If I was righteous then I could feel the Spirit. If I was obedient, then I would be privileged to have connection with God. The opposite would also be inferred. If I was not righteous or made mistakes or failed or didn't do the checklist of holy habits then I would be left alone without the reward of God's spirit to be with me. God's love and connection were conditional to my actions. This belief has served me well in moments I need the motivation to be righteous and obedient, and it has been dangerous in the moments I mess up and judge myself as undeserving of God's love and connection. In those moments, I feel shut out and alone and truly damned. My progress stops and I feel the need to fix things on my own until I can earn God's love and connection back again. Have you ever felt this way?

I know this could be argued either way through scripture, which is probably why I have struggled so much. Through some unexpected experiences, I have come to believe our connection to God is constant and unconditional. This belief serves me on both sides, both in the moments I'm doing well AND in the moments when I'm not, which is one reason I feel this is the greater truth.
Listen in. I'd love to know your own thoughts on this topic.

Meditation in Motion: Yahweh-Breathe The Name of God

Meditation in Motion: Yahweh-Breathe The Name of God

The name Yahweh is a sacred name of God in the Hebrew language that was long considered unspeakable. In his book, The Naked Now, author Richard Rohr says, "This unspeakability has long been recognized, but we now know it goes even deeper: formally the word was not spoken at all, but breathed! Many are convinced that its correct pronunciation is an attempt to replicate and imitate the very sound of inhalation and exhalation. The one thing we do every moment of our lives is therefore to speak the name of God. This makes it our first and last words as we enter and leave this world."

Living the seaside dream ,

Because the world needs more Brooke Snows

A friend introduced me to you several years ago and I have never taken the time to leave a review. I usually would listen to your podcast in the car and would forget to leave a review when I returned home. Today as I was listening to the episode about God’s unconditional love I realized that as you said, the more reviews, the more people will listen to the podcast. People need to listen to this podcast. It’s been completely soul and life changing for me. Completely eye opening. I have yet to listen to an episode without coming away from it with a new resolve to do better, love deeper or to just connect more to God and to those around me. You have given me a new insight into God’s love and how to love people around me better and more fully. Thank you for being you and for bringing such light into the world.

Aligning With the Seasons

The minute I saw the title I knew I was going to love it! It just feels right! It’s a light bulb moment where you say to yourself, why didn’t I think of this. I have done Brookes coaching program twice and learned so much every time. But it did feel like a bit of a crunch getting started in February, starting in March just feels right! Than you Brooke for all you’re insights!

I Create Too ,

Quick and Impactful

Brooke’s quick tips are inspiring and give you solid ideas for creating a joyful and successful life centered around Jesus Christ. I love her enthusiasm and her way of distilling information down into helpful tips that can be implemented into every day life choices.
I love your book reviews. I’m a huge fan of Adam Miller’s books. Yes, asking “what is needed here” is life changing ❤️
Thanks for being a light in this dreary world!
