Brutally Honest Reviews | Escape Room (2018) - "Alcoholism Saves Lives"
Hey everyone and welcome back to Brutally Honest Reviews, only on The Brutally Honest Network. For those of whom were holding out for Saw 13...Sam (Shots Fired), here it is, lol. In all seriousness today we are reviewing a film that shocked a lot of us with the trailer. Yes, it's another death or escape kind of film in the same vein as the Saw franchise, however taking a different spin. This film, arguably with a largely no name cast aside from Tyler Labine of Reaper and Tucker & Dale Vs Evil is Directed by Adam Robitel. If you ever saw that super creepy meme floating around with the possessed woman slowly devouring a live woman's head whole in the dark, that's Adam's Directorial Debut. The Haunting of Deborah Logan. So, despite being new and this being a relatively old concept, we all thought a large portion of this movie was actually quite fresh and new and well done. We all had different takes in this fun review. Let us know what you think and remember to always keep it Brutally Honest.

Brutally Honest Reviews | Bumblebee (2018) - "F*** Michael Bay"
Hey everyone and welcome back to Brutally Honest Reviews, only on The Brutally Honest Network. Today we are diving into a different kind of Transformers film. You know, what that doesn't blow. One that doesn't feature mediocre actors trying to save what little of a career they have or at the least we think they have. You know, one that actually has a semblance of story and heart and isn't just "A CGI f******t". God we hate Michael Bay for ruining a childhood classic. This film stars Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena, which is certainly an upgrade over Megan Fox & Mark Wahlberg and follows the plight of Bumblebee, a bright yellow punch buggy transformer with ripped out vocal cords and a child's mind. Sounds fun right? See what we though and remember to keep it Brutally Honest!

Brutally Honest Reviews | Q4 2018 Netflix Re-Cap (2018) - "Gouge My Eyes Out Like Birdbox"
Hey everyone and welcome back to Brutally Honest Reviews, only on The Brutally Honest Network. This, along with most our our recent episodes are older as we catch up to our 2019 Season. Alas' this episode is more relevant to the streaming culture and you can still find all of the films we discuss on streaming services today. We dive into three films from Q4 2018 that were hyped or otherwise talked about all across social media at the least. The first, the Sandra Bullock post-apocalyptic vehicle, Bird Box, was heavily talked about all across every media platform imaginable. The second, the under the radar Dan Stevens period horror-thriller, The Apostle, from Gareth Evans of The Raid & The Raid 2 got all of us at BHR really excited. And the third, piggybacking off of Jeffrey Wright's success as Bernard in Westworld (AMC), Hold The Dark was a search and rescue film that looked beautiful, but didn't make a lot of sense. Check out these three films and let us know what you thought of them. And remember to keep it Brutally Honest!

While not a necessary review, we certainly always have a lot of fun and keep it Brutally Honest!

Customer Reviews
Well produced
Great production value for a smaller podcast. Hearing the different points of view is refreshing.
Going to be a longtime listener!
Fantastic first episode! Can't wait to hear more film reviews. The four of you have great chemistry and provide insightful reviews in an entertaining fashion.
Great Job Guys
One thing I praise the most for your first episode is how you guys eliminated the thought of comparing movies to the book. To many people are hard on movie adaptations. I haven’t seen the movie nor was I going to spend money to see it, but you guys broke it down so well I feel like I seen it. Really like this podcast keep up the great work!!
