The NHL used to be chok full of characters. You had your rats, your tough guys, your skilled guys and one thing was for sure ; if you were going to take liberties, you better be able to face the music. This made it very exciting to attend a game. You know it was going to be electric if an opposing pest was coming to town and especially if he had recently taken a cheap shot against your team. This created rivalries. Who can forget Tucker getting elbowed by Kovalev or Lucic beating the crap out of Komisarek? Watching games with your friends would start arguments and get people talking. Rules have made it impossible for some players to show their toughness and let their personalities shine through. The NHL has become all about skill and in my opinion very boring. Let's bring back old time hockey. Or at least let's talk about it and maybe someone will listen. Take care of your K's and let the buckets drop.

In this podcast, get ready to hear interviews with former and Current Players from Minor League Hockey.

Episode 38 - TOP 10 List of New York Islanders Enforcers (PART1) - with Joseph Lozito

    Joseph Lozito joins to
discuss his All Time top 10 list for New York Islanders Enforcers. Who is Joe Lozito?
He is an author and the host of the popular podcast Coliseum Chronicles of
course; a podcast that focuses on New York Islanders Enforcers from the past and
present. He is also a certified bad ass. In true 90’s action hero fashion,
Joseph disarmed a butcher knife yielding maniac on a train back in February of 2011.
The maniac had previously gone on two a day murderous rampage that cast fear over the
entire City of New York. We start the interview with him talking about the
aftermath of this horrific series of events. Follow him on twitter @ColiSinBinPod

EPISODE 37 - TOP 5 LNAH ENFORCERS OF ALL TIME - with DARREN @4thlineVoice

    Imagine a league
where teams had 5 or more heavyweights licking their chops as you entered their
barn. Welcome to the Thunderdome! I sit down with Darren from the very popular
@4thlineVoice podcast (and Youtube channel) as we both present our top 5 All Time
Enforcers List in this conclusion to the Top 10 (Episode 36). This was not an easy task considering all the tough customers
who busted their hump in the LNAH with zero fear. Honorable mentions would take
all day. Enjoy and follow us on twitter @TheBucketDrop & @4thlineVoice

EPISODE 36 - TOP LNAH ENFORCERS OF ALL TIME - PART 1 WITH @4THLINEVOICE

EPISODE 36 - TOP LNAH ENFORCERS OF ALL TIME - PART 1 WITH @4THLINEVOICE

Wikipedia describes the LNAH as having the unofficial reputation of the toughest hockey league in the world. Back in the early 2000's, it was not uncommon for the fight leaders to have 70+ fights in a single season. Until 2011, the league was still averaging 3.2 fights per game. The AHL has often been referred to as the Jungle or the Wild West. This is true but imagine a league where teams had 5 or more heavyweights licking their chops as you entered their barn. Welcome to the Thunderdome! I sit down with Darren from the very popular @4thlineVoice podcast (and Youtube channel) as we both present our top 10 All Time Enforcers List. Episode 33 - Bring Back The Cornwall Royals - Joshua "The Royal Movement" Ferguson

Episode 33 - Bring Back The Cornwall Royals - Joshua "The Royal Movement" Ferguson

    Josh Ferguson is the
Social Media Manager for The Cornwall Colts and he is also the man responsible
for bringing OHL games back to Cornwall with the help of David Murphy and other
great volunteers. Josh and Steven McIntyre have a goal. This goal is bringing
Major Junior Hockey back to Cornwall. With recent news like Owen Sound nearly
moving their team to Cornwall, bringing back the royals may be a real
possibility. Their “Royal Movement” group has caught the eye of many former Royals’
Greats like Doug Gilmour and Ryan Vandenbussche. Could you imagine The Royals
back in Cornwall? A packed Civic Complex and the glory days of old may not only
be a thing of the past. The Cornwall Royals 2.0 may not be in the so distant
    future. Support the movement @Cornwall_Royals
