The Storybrand audiobook came into my life at the perfect time as I was launching my business. I learned so much and am so excited this Podcast continues that. I take so many notes and learn something new with each one.

Stoicism is inherently opposed to the Bible

Now that Don is getting into and embracing stoicism, it’s a problem. The stoics deny that there is one God, they say there is no such thing as love, and there is no such thing as an immaterial soul. Everything that exists is material (including God) and keeps going in an eternal cycle—no beginning or end. The world ends in a conflagration and then reboots, to go through the same cycle over and over again—there is no heaven or hell. They are pure materialists, which is why there is nothing truly unethical for Stoics in how you acquire money and worldly goods.

Stoics hold to SOME virtues, but faith, hope, and charity (love) are not among them. They look down at those who say that love is a good thing. I really hope he and JJ will be able to see their way clear of this.
