A Podcast I Didn't Know I Wanted
I'm an outsider to improv, but gave this a listen after it came up in conversation. Glad I did! There's something energizing about hearing people discuss their passions, and the conversations here are hilarious and insightful. Interesting how the trials and tribulations in improv have direct parallels in daily life-- and how much overlap there is between improv skills and life skills. Is improv a little microcosm of life? I dunno: I have no idea what I'm talking about. But I can recommend this podcast with zero reservations. Great stuff!
My new favorite podcast?
Surprised that there’s only 6 reviews. Wanted to learn more about Improv to improve my Roleplay, found my new Favorite podcast, too far away to see shows but grateful for the discussions and performances!
Improv chat for chillin’ out
Jen and David have a very smart but relaxed approach to improv discussion which is a really nice style. They back it up with smart guests and funny scene work. These are the kind of discussions you’d have after an early rehearsal on a Saturday at the bar across the street on the back patio.
