Building community and connection for seniors through music

Side Hustle to Small Business

In 2007, Sarah Martin McConnell founded Music for Seniors, a Nashville-based nonprofit, inspired by her mother’s diagnosis with Alzheimer’s disease. Recognizing that older adults often experience greater isolation than other groups, Sarah, a musician herself, saw an opportunity to make a difference. The organization offers live, interactive music programs designed to engage, entertain, and educate seniors, fostering health and well-being. - Chapters -
