Building Community with Sarah English

Sarah English, Extraordinary Educator and teacher in Utah, joins this episode to talk about how to build community with your students this year. Sarah provides tips you can use tomorrow in your classroom to strengthen the relationships you have with your students and build a classroom community with trust and respect. She explains why consistency and patience are so important, and shares two stories from her teaching. Sarah enjoys learning about how the brain works, and she explains how she shares the science with her students. Sarah gives advice to teachers who want to learn practical ways to get to know their students better when there is already so much to do during the school day.
