Brings the story to life in a new way

These dramatizations of the books of the Iliad bring new life to the story that I’ve never heard before. He does a great job making it accessible and understandable, while also maintaining an amazing sense of place at atmosphere.
The way he switches between different translations, sometimes in verse, sometimes in prose, etc. really makes it feel like listening to a great storyteller from long ago. He even makes the list of ships interesting to listen to!
If you’ve wanted to read the story of the Iliad but never been able to get into it, this is the version I’d recommend. There’s just one problem - it’s not finished.
