It's finally here, THE episode you guys have been asking for -- my journey to reading 100 books in a year.
During this solo episode I'm sharing how I found my passion for reading all over again, and how I use it today as a form of self-care. 079 - Designing Your Business to Fit Your Life Through Planning, Executing, and Systems with Annie McCarty
Annie is the owner + founder of Efficiently Annie LLC. After earning her MBA and with a decade in corporate marketing and operations experience under her belt, she ditched the power suit in pursuit of something more fulfilling. Led by her knack for project management and process organization, she developed a reputation as a dynamic and dependable virtual assistant. But it wasn’t long before she began to realize the need for creative businesses owners to build a stronger foundation of simple, streamlined, repeatable workflows that would sustain them as they evolved and inevitably grew.
In this episode, Annie is sharing so many little nuggets of wisdom on how you can truly find the balance you need to design and live life on your terms. Annie is a master when it comes to systems, especially (my favorite) Asana, but her journey wasn't always as smooth sailing as it is today. As she dives into what success means to her, and only her, Annie also touches on her many moments of pivoting in her business and why giving yourself permission to be you will provide the room your business needs to grow and evolve the way it's supposed to.

076 - When Consuming Content is Actually Bad for You (and what to do about it)
The other day I was talking to one of my clients about her podcast queue and how long it was, not to mention the 100+ unread emails sitting in her inbox from email lists she’d subscribed to. She was feeling totally overwhelmed by it and guilty that she wasn’t able to “get to it all.” So I shared a story with her from a few months after I started my first business. I was subscribed to over 1000 email lists and tried to read as many of them as I could - with a handful that I absolutely read every day. And this was back when people were regularly sending emails 5 days a week. There came a point where consuming that much content was actually undermining my confidence and ability to run my own business and I had to let go of them, stop consuming so much, and start taking action. You see, when I was focusing on trying to get through all that content and never miss out on a single piece of advice or tip or roadmap (or whatever else they were selling me), I no longer saw myself as the intelligent, confident person I'd always identified with. I don't want any of you to go as far down that rabbit hole as I did -- so in today's solo episode I'm sharing my story of how I took back my expertise and confidence when it came to consuming the right type of content that serves me and my business, and began living life as the best version of myself.
Being subscribed to 1000+ emails, opting in for #allthethings and feeling completely lost and overwhelmed
Taking back my power and seeing myself as the expert on my business
How to recognize when something is no longer adding value, just adding more noise
How you can give yourself permission to clear the clutter turn down the volume on all the noise
How to let go of the content that's no longer serving you and your business (aka - stop hoarding content & knowledge)
Recognizing what you actually need right now + going to find it
Want to chat about how you can take back your expertise or let go of the constant FOMO? DM me over on instagram - I’d love to chat with you about it!
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the voices in your inbox or on your podcast queue, I want to challenge you to really evaluate the content you are consuming and determine if it's actually adding value or just adding noise.
If it's adding noise, get rid of it ASAP. If it's adding value, keep it but give yourself permission to NOT have to read/listen to it all.
Trust that the right content will get in front of you at the right time for you to use it.

Fast forward a few years, she now teaches other creatives how to turn their passions into profitable online businesses by selling their digital products as well.
On today's episode Eden is diving deep into the world of tripwires and giving us all her tips and tricks on navigating them, why she swears by them, along with her top 3 benefits when it comes to tripwires and why it's so important to take time for you, and close your computer before you hit burnout.

The Micro and the Macro
I find that people who can hold both the big picture vision of growing a business, as well as the small details that it takes to actually get there, are relatively few and far between.
I love Chelsea’s ability to zoom in and out. She can zoom in to figure out the tiny details we need to line up in order to build systems that work for you in your biz. And at the same time, she is equally committed to zooming out to look at the big picture: How do those systems fit into the rest of your business? How does your business fit into your life?
I found her podcast one night on Google and I am so glad I did!
I needed this podcast!
I am so glad I found Chelsea! She is giving me great tools to work more efficiently, to waste less time in things that I don’t like to do, so I can focus more on the things that I like to do on my business!
Just what I needed!!
Yes! This podcast couldn’t be more timely for me in my business. I knew I needed work flow advise, and then Chelsea just popped into my life! Thank you, Chelsea, for your advise. To me, it’s solid gold!! Keep doin’ your thing! 👏🏼👏🏼
