Burnt
2020 was difficult. Everyone struggled to some degree. And while some learned and grew and did wonderful things, others fell apart and many just struggled with their emotions and navigating their ways through a brave new world. Sharing how we coped (and continue to cope) in the face of unprecedented change can heal, inspire, reflect and educate. On The Burnt Podcast, we will discuss the emotional rollercoasters that have been our Covid-affected lives. From success stories to tragedies, comic misadventures to tales of love found and lost. We will, with wit and respect, bring forth galvanizing stories, fascinating perspectives and voices that deserve to be heard, raw and unfiltered. We will create a forum for sharing unique and authentic experiences in the hopes of not only entertaining and touching our audiences, but, if possible, elucidating some small corners of the universal human Experience. 2020 was the year of isolation, but we were not, and are not, alone.

Articulate, Stunning, Couldn't stop listening

I've only heard one of your podcasts, but I don't think any could surpass the Lady G episode. She is So Well-Spoken and the story is edge-of-your-seat thrilling. I turned on the podcast after getting in bed late one night thinking I would unwind. Ha! That didn’t happen. I am so glad her husband is doing well after the nightmare they endured. Thank you Brandon for asking about the daughter who made eye-contact with the emergency responder. Thank you Steve for sharing your wife's close encounter. I am fairly new to Twitter, and I can't find Dr. Lawrence on there. Dr. Sample I adore listening to you; stream-of-consciousness is just fine. Hope you guys will do more episodes - will listen to the other 7 when I recover from the first. (Dr. Sample I am your 72 year old stalker :) on Twitter. Your family including the pups are beautiful.
Great View from Inside Healthcare Today

Your Ashley B: True Grit episode is your best yet. Not sure if you all realize how amazing it is for people my age to hear MDs/DOs and RNs talking as colleagues. I’ve been out of nursing for some time and every hospital culture is different, but I really appreciate the lack of deference, especially since it’s been replaced with mutual respect. Thank you, Ashley B, for being a nursing and patient advocate; we need more voices like yours. Steve and Brandon, your genuineness shines. Healthcare needs more of you and more Ashleys. Loved the outtakes as well! If you work in healthcare, you need to listen to this podcast.
