Today in the hot seat we have twins sisters Erricka and Derricka of Transformations Beauty Studio. They started TBS started in 2016. We talked about the process of starting their salon business and how they both used their experience to help them in business. Erricka works on the business and marketing side and Derricka is the lead stylist, co-owner, and operations. They shared how they were able to use their online platform to expand the hair extension business with a ready-to-wear wig collection during quarantine. 


TBS was formed after both sisters dealt with emotional trauma. Feeling low and disconnected from the world during this time, they sought to create something that enabled them to feel complete again; while bringing happiness to everyone they’d soon encounter. The name Transformations Beauty Studio was a no brainer, they wanted something to represent their change and what they’d be bringing to their clients.

Both Erricka and Derricka believe that “Women struggle every day with their appearance and insecurities. when clients come to Transformations Beauty Studio not only do they receive a hairstylist and quality hair but they receive sisterhood, a life coach and someone to confide in.” Operating on those values Transformations Beauty Studio has grown to be one of the most popular salons in Atlanta, GA. Customers are guaranteed a genuine experience, deep concern about their hair goals, and leaving happy knowing TBS has their back.
