Andrew's business advice is having a goal in mind, that's really important because it's probably one of the, the best things that I did with my accountant at the time was just working out where you want to be.

What is it in 10 years time, in 20 years time, or whatever it is, whatever that end goal is in a, you know, with it's short, medium, long term. Having that in in mind then gives you something to aim towards and gives you, uh, then. , you can work backwards from there. It's almost like backwards architecting what you need to do.

In an interview with Carlo Selorio, Mike Ilagan discusses his childhood in Sydney's West and how he discovered early on that he had a knack for entrepreneurship by buying candy in bulk when he was young and selling it for a profit. Mike completed a course in graphic design, but because he lacked experience, he was unable to get employment. Mike founded his own publication so he could build a portfolio. For the first five years, he didn't make any money, but he persisted and built a publishing empire.

1. Don't quit your day job just yet when you first start a business.
2. Do your research. Don't jump into any, um, I guess any business that you, you've seen in TV or heard your friends say, oh, this is a great business and you should be doing this.
