Jess Copacia - 5 Questions with a Mom Entrepreneur

I've got another amazing mom entrepreneur to introduce you to today. Meet Empowerment Coach for Moms Jess Copacia. Jess is a coach who gives women permission to start putting themselves first! She believes women's voices often become quieted by mom guilt and society's opinion of what a wife or mom should look like. This “quieting”  causes women to lose themselves and may lead to unhappiness, overwhelm, stagnation, anxiety and hopelessness. In her Straighten Your Crown program, she encourages women to awaken that inner voice and start taking action to become the QUEEN they were meant to be!

Creating a Plan for Goal Setting Success -- Goal Setting Series

Creating a Plan for Goal Setting Success -- Goal Setting Series

In part 2 of 4 for our Goal Setting Series, we talk strategy. Creating your action plan to tackle your goals. How to know what you need to do on a daily and weekly basis in order to reach those big (yet attainable) goals you have for this year or any year.

Creating a solid plan for goal setting success helps your funnel the energy into actions that make an impact rather than spinning your wheels or wondering what to do next. We also touch on pre-planning for when life gets in the way. Whether it's a vacation that sabotages your healthy eating or a sick child that throws off your Live Chat schedule, it pays to problem solve ahead of time to prevent stress and overwhelm.

The motto for today is "Think macro. Act micro."

Holly Haynes - 5 Questions with a Mom Entrepreneur

Holly Haynes - 5 Questions with a Mom Entrepreneur

We're back with our first, fabulous mom entrepreneur of 2021...let me introduce side hustle strategist and twin mom Holly Haynes. Holly is crazy passionate about teaching women how to build a side hustle (insert job of their dreams) without sacrificing weekends and their priorities! She believes strongly that you can create a routine you love and with the right tools create a lifestyle that works without burnout! You can usually find her chatting biz strategy on my podcast “Crush the Rush” and all things wellness (gotta keep that energy up).

She started her first coaching business in network marketing when her twins were 18 months old while working full time. She was excited to start something she was passionate about but overwhelmed with how to make progress in small pockets of time. The traditional methods of working 3-4 hours a day in blocks of time didn't work because she quite frankly didn't that kind of time. So she created a system and strategy that works and used that to build her strategic coaching business that exists today!

Why Know Your Why? -- Goal Setting Series

Why Know Your Why? -- Goal Setting Series

Happy 2021! If you are like many entrepreneurs I know, you've got a LONG list of goals you'd like to accomplish in the coming year. And you're fresh off some time away and raring to get started on making these changes.  I also know that after more than 11 years as an entrepreneur, even the best-laid goal setting strategies lose momentum.

But never fear, my fellow business savvy mamas, that is exactly why we are talking about why today. Specifically your why. Your purpose for setting goals. The root of the reason you want to make a change.

You may be asking "why do I need to know why?" Because that purpose is what is going to keep you motivated when you've lost momentum. It will pull you back in when you want to give up.

Today, I give you a simple exercise for you to clarify WHY you want to accomplish this goal. Once you've completed the exercise, you can use it to help you stay the course. Or remember why this change is important. Or remind you of the impact it will make on you and your loved ones.

For the next 4 weeks, I'll be sharing my best goal setting strategies and simple action steps you can take to help you achieve and accomplish more in 2021. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss an episode!

Want to Work Less? Start by Knowing Your Numbers

Want to Work Less? Start by Knowing Your Numbers

What does it mean to work smarter, not harder? Frankly, I think it is all hard work. But today I want to help you make that effort (aka hard work) go further. And make sure you are working hard in the right places. The places that will help you reach more people, serve your community better, and make you more money. To me, that is how you work hard in a smart way.

I'll share why it is important to track your numbers and note what you are doing that connects with potential clients. This will form the basis for creating content and products going forward. Instead of throwing spaghetti against the wall to see what sticks, we are noting which techniques make the noodles the stickiest and building on that.
