    S3 Ep.05: Just Breathe & Don’t Pass Out

    S3 Ep.05: Just Breathe & Don’t Pass Out

Hi Guys! Today I am sharing a few stories on how I became a public speaker and how I almost passed out! Being a public speaker was the last thing I had ever thought I would become being an introvert and all but now it’s one of my favorite things to do. I share tips on how to become a great and engaging speaker or educator.

    ACTIONABLE TO DO:

Make up a story as if you are going to speak publicly, type it up and then practice saying that story in your voice, don’t memorize it. Practice out loud and find moments where you can ad humor, a take away, or emotion. Then do it in front of family and friends.

S4 Ep. 04: Oh Shit I Quit My Job

S4 Ep. 04: Oh Shit I Quit My Job

Hi Guys! Today is storytelling day. I get asked about how and when I decided to quit my job 6 years ago to blog full time. It’s always a difficult decision to make and when you grow up with no visual representation of an entrepreneur it just seems like something other people do.

    ACTIONABLE TO DO:

If you are thinking of quitting your job start by analyzing where your side hustle money is coming from, how consistently, and what can you do to increase it. Track it for a few months and then decide if you can sustain yourself as you grow your new venture. If you are lucky enough to have a nest egg even better but you can do it without it as long as you are smart about your decisions.

S3 Ep. 03: It Is What It Is

S3 Ep. 03: It Is What It Is

Hi Guys! I have a special guest joining me today. My daughter Chastidy is back to chat with me about life’s unexpected and not so great moments and how we deal with them. Sometimes no matter how positive you are, how much good energy you put out, and how good of a person you try to be, life happens but how you respond to the universe is what makes the difference in how you let it affect you and your ability to set it aside and move forward.

S3 Ep. 02: It takes Grit

S3 Ep. 02: It takes Grit

Hi Guys! I had the chance to sit and talk with my friend Audrey McLoghlin an amazing and powerful entrepreneur who is continuously inspiring me.

Audrey is the founder of Frank & Eileen which was born out of the idea to take otherworldly Italian fabrics — historically reserved for men — to reinvent the button-up shirt for women. 1 million Italian button-ups later, she was deeply inspired to launch a new brand inspired by the everyday women out there re-writing the rules. Over the past few years, she has watched the world change completely — for retail, for women, and for herself. she had a baby, realized women are f*@$# superheroes and launched a new brand inspired by her fearless daughter Grayson.

Mimi g reminds me of my auntie that always keeps it real

I always set the tone for my day with Mimis podcast. She always has the best advice and every time I listen I feel so motivated. Always keeps it real and I appreciate that so much.

Keeps it real. Straight talk.

Incredibly helpful series. Mini G doesn’t just talk. She gives the listener actionable to-do lists at the end of each episode. Her own story is inspiring and helps to motivate, but when that motivation wears off and you’re all alone with your business idea, you also have that to-do list. This podcast can help the most reluctant, doubtful person take their first steps toward entrepreneurship. Well done, Mimi, we’ll done! 💃🏽
