Soooooomebody once told us this podcast was gonna roll us, we aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed. The iconic Shrek is finally on the podcast. We paired this episode with Monsters’ Nasty Beast Tea clocking in at a 6% ABV that got us real silly.

Keeping it in theme with Valentines and romance, Beto chose a movie he hadn’t even seen himself yet: “Past Lives.” Similar to “Blue Valentine”, it explores themes that, although aren’t overdramatized, are far too real to ignore. It won’t make you cry, but you might sulk for a while if you’ve experienced what Nora and Hae Sung have gone through. People fall in and out of love and we talk about why it was an interesting decision to show the parallels of people falling in and out of love.
