California Exploring with Greg and Zanne Greg & Suzanne Baugher

It's been a month since our last episode and it's mind-blowing at how much has happened in our lives.  Our youngest daughter was diagnosed with Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome (that's a name that will scare the hell our of a parent), Greg had his bariatric surgery and is doing amazing, and the tragic shootings at Saugus High School that is located near our house.  

We all struggle with life choices. In Episode 006 of the California Exploring Podcast, Greg & Zanne talk about health, quality of life and Greg’s upcoming bariatric surgery. It's been a year since Greg started exploring his options and started taking classes through a local hospital. The time has now arrived and on Wednesday Greg will begin the second stage of his journey to a healthy and more active and fulfilling life. There will be challenges, but the rewards are immense.

We just returned from an amazing weekend at the Talladega Superspeedway with NASCAR! We spent the weekend in a luxurious RV parked in the infield right in front of the finish line and attended a Riley Green concert. We interviewed a number of NASCAR drivers including Matt DiBenedetto, Kyle Larson, Ty Dillon and Haley Dillon, race winner Ryan Blaney and the legendary Jimmie Johnson. We also interviewed Travis Geisler from Team Penske and got a tour of Brad Keselowski’s NASCAR car hauler. We had full access to the garages and media areas and watched both the Sugarlands Shine 250 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series race and the 1000bulbs.com NASCAR Cup Series race right from pit row.

Hold on to your seats as you will be treated to the world premiere of Zanne singing in public! We also discuss attending the reveal of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible and our upcoming trip as the guests of NASCAR to the Talladega Superspeedway.  We'll be camping in a luxury RV in the infield of the track right next to the finish line, riding in pace cars, interviewing drivers and visiting the pits, garages and talking with the Team Penske hauler crew.
