ABOUT CALL ME THURSDAY:
After becoming permanently long-distance best friends in 2019, Sav and Sar committed to weekly phone calls every Thursday. It’s been four years of hours on the phone bent over in tears from both laughter and sorrow, joy and grief, celebrating and ranting. Conversations over the tensions of being citizens of heaven and doing life in the world and figuring out how to build lives that are meaningful, sacred, and marked by both depth and joy in their fullest nature. After the first several months of laughing at our own jokes, we thought, “Man, we would make a great podcast.” And four years later, friends, we invite you in. Come think with us. Process with us what it means to be women in our 20s, in this strange place between Millennials and Gen Z. Chasing dreams, asking questions, and saying the things that most of us are secretly thinking. We’ll talk to you Thursday. -
ep. 51: dealing, healing, feeling, and freaking out less
Welcome back, Thursday! Sav and Sar are coming off a full weekend. They give their thoughts on the attempted assassination of the former president and the news coverage surrounding it. In true CMT fashion, the gals make a seamless pivot from the state of the union to which of them is an indoor cat versus an outdoor cat. The gals get into Sar's wedding planning marathon and content cleanse as well as their shared goal to chill out. Your best girls are tackling a ton of topics this week, and they can't wait for you to join them!

ep. 50: girly girl crazies, the reality of racism, and how to disagree
Welcome back to the Call Me Thursday podcast where your best girls are celebrating episode number FIFTY! The gals couldn't be more grateful for everyone who has picked up the phone to join their Thursday chats thus far. This week's episode feels like the most real Sav and Sar have ever been. The gals are going there as it relates to feeling crazy, experiences with racism, and what it means to disagree and commit. Don't worry though - Sav and Sar manage to lighten things up with a fun book recommendation and a quick little dinner recipe! They can't wait to have you join them on this week's call!

ep. 49: this one's for you, Mr. Buttigieg
Does it get any better than a holiday weekend Thursday?? Sav and Sar would like to welcome you back to another episode of the Call Me Thursday podcast! Sav is revealing her husband's hidden talent and Sar is well on her way to establishing her John Grisham fan club. BUT it's not all coffee orders and Kindles. Sav's putting some new habits in place to be a bit less humiliating, and Sar's going head-to-head with some not so nice thoughts. Nevertheless, the gals find a way to keep giggling thanks to the presidential debate and a situation where Sar was somehow utterly unrecognizable. Be sure to share this episode with your best friend! The gals can't wait for you to listen LINKS:

ep. 48: LET THE GIRLS YAP
TGITHURSDAY! We've nearly made it through another week, and the gals have a chit chatty episode to launch you into Friday eve! During this week's call you'll find out what Sav and Sar are eating, wearing, and listening to. Sar has officially caught the premarital cooking bug and Sav is simplifying her life. The gals offer some affirmation that we're all more than we produce and (to Sar's relief) you don't actually have to keep a journal (or time block) to be mentally healthy!!! Your best girls try to untangle their feelings on what it’s like to want to fit in but also live unashamed of the Gospel. And we're rounding the call out with a little VBC!!! (IYKYK). Sav and Sar are hitting it all this week. Pick up the phone and join them!

ep. 47: the gals go to counseling (premarital and career)
Welcome back Call Me Thursday listeners! After a few weeks on the go, the gals are back in front of their mics and ready to catch up in real time! Sav has heart eyes for heirloom tomatoes and Sar is doing all of the wedding planning things. Both gals are saying absolutely NOT to summertime critters in the house, and they're pushing back on fake inclusivity. And of course, it wouldn't be Call Me Thursday without a little career heart to heart. Your best girls are so back, and they can't wait to share this week's call with you!

Customer Reviews
Hmmm. Should I quit my corporate job.
So proud of these girls and the growth and wisdom in their young lives. It’s funny that this was my first full episode because I thought it was only on spotify and this old girl does not have that. So I happened across you when I was searching for Mel Robbin’s podcast on apple pod casts. Anyways I recently pursued my dream of getting my real estate license and trying to do that with a corporate job as well, and I feel like there’s a strong desire to give realestste more of my time but a fear of losing the stable income. I wonder though what this will look like a year from today! You two girls are doing amazing and I’m sure have incredibly proud parents.
FAVORITE DAY OF THE WEEK
Giggles, inspiration, and encouragement. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I walk away thinking about the world a little differently, reflecting on my life, and maybe with a new life hack or product in my Amazon cart, but every time I am blessed. These girls can carry a conversation about anything and always lift your spirits with their witty banter and outlook on life. Is Thursday my new favorite day of the week?! I think yes!!
Y’all are so sweet!
Love this pod girl! Keep it up you guys are such genuine sweet girlies <3
