Eventually all of it falls away. All the faith you thought you understood just falls away and you see things in new light. It is uncomfortable but maybe necessary.

I hate that this is even a topic that needs discussed; but here we are discussing sex trafficking and the role of the church. May we begin to care less about power and money and more about one another.

    Guest Bio:

The Exodus Road began through the work of co-founders Matt and Laura Parker who, in 2010, operated a children’s home in rural Northern Thailand. During that time, Matt and Laura were exposed to marginalized people groups – targets for human trafficking. Eventually, Matt began networking with news media and local police to learn about the problem at the ground level. After a period of research, he was deputized by police and started working personally to find those trapped in slavery. Today, they lead a team of 70 staff members, many of whom are national operatives who work closely with vetted police partners.

Honest!

I loved the episode with Matt Parker of The Exodus Road - he was raw, vulnerable, and authentic and I appreciated the conversation between you and him about human trafficking, uncovering both the truths and the hopefulness in that challenging space

Excellent interview

This podcast is one of my favorite, that I look forward to. Seth is an excellent interviewer and isn’t afraid to be vulnerable with his guests, which I think is an awesome trait for his role and often helps make great listening.
I’ve been listening since almost the beginning - don’t remember how I found out about it - but the guests he is able to talk to are high quality and really help introducing great ideas to think about.
Anyone who wants to be challenged in their faith and be supported while doing so, I highly recommend this podcast!
