Canyon Creek Sermons is a collection of weekly services from the pastors at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church. Canyon Creek exists to empower people to pursue their call in Christ. Our hope is that people experience a deep and transforming relationship with Jesus. Our further hope is that as people grow in their relationship with Christ they will also grow in relationship with one another. Our services are Sundays at 10am.

Part 3 | Citizens of Heaven and Ambassadors for Christ
Join us this Sunday for the concluding sermon in our series on Politics and the Gospel, where we will explore what it means to live as Citizens of Heaven and Ambassadors of Christ in today's world. Discover how our heavenly citizenship and ambassadorial duties shape our engagement with political spaces. We invite you to worship with us this Sunday—come and learn and think through how to live out your faith.

Part 2 | Conscientious Christians
Join us this Sunday as we explore the complex relationship between faith, governance, and personal responsibility, as outlined in Romans 13. You will be challenged by the call for active participation, and the importance of leading with love as we consider our own politic. It's an important topic as we approach the upcoming political season and how we, as Christians, can navigate the tensions between promoting the gospel and civic duty.

Part 1 | Render to God
Join us this Sunday as we begin a new sermon series called Politics and the Gospel. We will begin by looking at one of the most famous scenes in the Gospels. Jesus is asked by the Pharisees and the Herodians if they should pay taxes to Caesar or not. They think they've trapped him with a yes or no question. Instead Jesus says, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." This scene and Jesus' answer have massive implications for how Christians today ought to approach their governing authorities and politics.

Palm Sunday | The Offices of Christ
Join us this Sunday for the beginning of Holy Week and a special Palm Sunday service. This is the Sunday when Jesus began his journey toward his death and resurrection, the center of the Christian faith. His journey began with the triumphal entry on a donkey, demonstrating he is a king. Then he wept over Jerusalem as he predicted difficult days in their future, demonstrating he is a prophet. Finally, he cleansed the temple, demonstrating that he is a priest.
