    Episode 35 – Let’s talk about archiving

We had some technical difficulties with episode 34, and then a hurricane came a long and messed us up again. But we are back with a deep dive into the archive mechanic. In this weekly podcast episode we discuss the power level of archiving, and the number of cards that attack it.

We are excited about the Worlds Collide set coming out, so be on the look out for content related to that soon. Also some of the ruling changes/clarifications were much needed so we’ll dig into that in a bit more detail next week.

Episode 33 – Reversal Format, Plus a crazy deck that we talk about.

Episode 33 – Reversal Format, Plus a crazy deck that we talk about.

We got a chance to play in our very first reversal tournament. We discuss how we did, plus how much we love this format. Finally we close out the episode with a discussion about a KeyForge deck that we believe is one of our strongest.

Episode 32 – New Houses! New Keywords! and GenCon Vault Tour decks – Big Week for KeyForge Fans

Episode 32 – New Houses! New Keywords! and GenCon Vault Tour decks – Big Week for KeyForge Fans

We all sorta knew it was coming but at GenCon Fantasy Flight Games announced 2 new houses coming to KeyForge. KeyForge Worlds Collide is coming this November!!! We even got to see some of the new cards played on stream. This week we dig into everything that came out of GenCon including keywords, cards, and the new houses themselves. We also discuss how we feel about the houses that are rotating out.

Finally we end the episode reviewing the decks that won the Vault Tours at Gen Con. As always be sure to check out all our other avenues for distributing content, iTunes, Pandora, Breaker, and YouTube. We love this game and hope to continue making videos like this for a long time.

P.S. Sorry this one is a day late, we were traveling this weekend and didn’t have time to record and edit over the weekend.

Episode 31 – AoA vs CoTA Artifact Control, News, and The Crucible

Episode 31 – AoA vs CoTA Artifact Control, News, and The Crucible

We close out out topic of artifact control with a comparison of AoA and CoTA. A lot of people we talk to say AoA feels like it has less artifact control than Call of the Archons. Digging into the numbers we see if that is really the case.

We also talk about the new updates to The Crucible, and last but not least some ruling updates posted by Fantasy Flight Games.

Episode 30 – Artifact Control in Age of Ascension

Episode 30 – Artifact Control in Age of Ascension

In this weeks podcast episode we talk about artifact control in Age of Ascension. It always feels like there isn’t enough ways to deal with artifacts, so we put that to the test by running the numbers. In this episode we discuss the rarity, and count of artifact control cards in AoA.

Episode 29 – How Bad is that Creature for me? Playing against must answer creatures.

Episode 29 – How Bad is that Creature for me? Playing against must answer creatures.

In this episode we take a different approach and examine some individual cards and discuss how highly we value destroying that creature. On a scale of 1 – 5 (1 we don’t worry about it, to 5 we do anything possible to kill it) we discuss how we each rate different creatures in Keyforge.

Great stuff

The Larsons may be a thorn in my side at KF events, but they are a great family of players who are kind, helpful, and really good at the game. Glad to hear them putting out content!!
