A must listen podcast

I wish I would’ve had this wonderful wisdom these past 17 years when I was actively leading, but I am nonetheless beyond grateful to have found Carey’s podcast.

I first heard of Carey through my counselor who recommended “Didn’t See it Coming” (a must read for everyone over 35!), and I’ve been listening faithfully for the past year and a half.

Carey’s humble interview style, wise questions, and organic / authentic format make this not only a fabulous a way to gain insight and wisdom as church and business leaders, but he has an insightful way of making it about the interviewee and not himself. He brings the best out of the leader in his thoughtful and engaging interview style, filling each episode with powerful and immediately applicable takeaways for any leader.

I have gained so much practical life wisdom and even more, been enlightened about the future of the church. Appreciating the female and male leaders interviewed, I have laughed, cried, been awed and left pondering powerful messages of hope and impact, challenged in my areas of comfort and complacency.

My favorite episodes without a doubt have been the 2 with Gordon MacDonald. His fatherly wisdom has permanently changed my outlook on the second half of life. I am so so grateful. Thank you, Carey, from a female leader who has learned so much from your thoughtful selection of leaders and their interviews.

Pick a favorite?

A few weeks ago cCarey asked us to share a favorite episode. How do you do that! Since I subscribed about 18 months ago, I have listened to EVERY episode. There are times I think- oh I don’t know that person or this topic isn’t relevant for my circumstance... so glad I ignore those thoughts!

I have gained some nugget of wisdom, shared a laugh, had several tears, and thought more deeply as I proceed in leadership. I want to thank Carey and his staff for working to put together a wonderful podcast that I never miss. What a blessing as we all seek to follow Jesus in our differing calls in this life.
Ok - a favorite?? If you forced me to choose- it would have to be Gordon Macdonald- BOTH episodes. I thank God for the gift and have read Ordering Your Private World in the hopes of gaining more wisdom from this man of God.

Thanks Carey for challenging and supporting those in your path...

A "must have" podcast

If you are a leader in the church or business world, this is a must have podcast. The candid conversations that Carey has with his guests shed light on areas that you haven't even thought of. It's like be able to be mentored by some of the best leaders today. Thank you so much for not only having this podcast, but archiving them so we can access past ones over and over again.
