Dr. Heather Thompson Day is speaker and contributor for Religion News Service, Newsweek and the Barna Group. She is also an Associate Professor of Communication at Colorado Christian University. She is passionate about supporting women, and runs an online community called I’m That Wife which has nearly 200k followers. Heather’s writing has been featured on the Today Show, and the National Communication Association. She believes her calling is to stand in the gaps of our churches for young people. She is the author of 7 books; including It’s Not Your Turn (forthcoming), Confessions of a Christian Wife (2019), and The God Myth and Other Lies (2014). She resides in Denver, Colorado with her husband, Pastor Seth Day, and their three children, London, Hudson, and Sawyer Day.

Evangelism IMPACT 2020 — Sixth General Session — Jesse Wilson
Dr. Jesse Wilson is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and a graduate of Oakwood University and Andrews University. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
He has pastored in Tennessee, Alabama, and Southern California. While pastoring the Kansas Ave. Church in Riverside, California, Dr. Wilson was a major spokesman in the areas of police misconduct and social justice. For his efforts he was the first Adventist to receive the historic One California award from the State of California.
After pastoring, Dr. Wilson became the Director of Church Growth and Discipleship for the Southeastern California Conference of SDAs. Later he was the Coordinator of the Doctor of Ministries concentration in Urban Ministries for Andrews University.
Currently Dr. Wilson is the Director of the Bradford, Cleveland, Brooks Leadership Center at Oakwood University. He is also the Director of the Pastors Evangelism and Leadership Council that meets annually on the campus of Oakwood University. It is the largest and longest running Ministers conference in the denomination.
His wife Cheri is the Director of Advancement and Development at Oakwood University and they have 4 adult children.
