    A Message from the Host

    Hey Casefile fans!

In support of Missing Persons Week, I’ve accepted a challenge to record 145 personalised messages for the first 145 listeners to secure their spot. Why this many? Because on average, 145 Australians are reported missing every single day.

Whether you know a Casefile fan with an upcoming birthday or just looking to change your voicemail? Get creative!

Spots will open at 8 am Australian Eastern Standard Time on Sunday 31st of July, and close on Saturday 6th of August, unless sold out prior.

100% of the proceeds will go to Missing Persons Advocacy Network (MPAN); an Australian charity creating awareness for missing persons and providing support to their families and friends.

Go to mpan.com.au/customcasey and I’ll look forward to speaking to you, personally, soon.

    See You Soon! (Mid-Year Break)

To our valued listeners, including our Patreon, Apple Premium and Spotify supporters, this is just a quick message to let you know that there will be a four-week break between episodes from July 16 onwards. As we do every year, the Casefile team will be busy catching up on some behind-the-scenes work to ensure we finish 2022 on a strong note. Episodes will resume their normal scheduling on August 20, kicking off with Case 219. As always, thanks for your ongoing support, and we look forward to returning to the airwaves soon.

While you are waiting for us to come back, why not check out the other podcasts we have created through our production arm Casefile Presents. Our most recent release The Detective’s Dilemma is a Spotify-exclusive ten-part series narrated by me, that looks into the disappearance of Sian O’Callaghan. The series features interviews with family members and the lead detective Steve Fulcher. When a moral dilemma arises, you’ll have the opportunity to put yourself in the detective’s shoes and ask yourself, what would you have done?

    [Part 2 of 2]

In Berlin, Germany at the height of World War Two, a man took advantage of the Blackout orders at night to frighten and assault women in an isolated garden colony. Factual and Chilling

These stories are told in great detail unlike many other podcasts. Narrators voice is easy to listen to, and this is one of my favorite podcasts! The stories are heartbreaking but the story telling is respectful and covers cases from around the world. Awesome work!

Best true crime podcast

The research, writing, reasoning, and presentation are exceptional; particularly the endings of an episode.
Have listened to all episodes, really wish for more!

Free episode now premium?

I was halfway through case 207 yesterday and today I can’t finish it because it’s all of sudden a premium episode. I understand the idea behind the premium side of Casefile, and I love the podcast, but this is just frustrating.
