Great podcast

I have been listening to Casefile true crime podcast from the beginning, like it a lot. Well presented and I love the accent! New shows from the same creators however are exclusive to other than Apple podcast app. Sorry but you are losing a listener as I will not move to other service. Good luck but I think you are playing a risky game ... in the long run if you make it exclusive on one platform people will turn away.

In-depth research, soothing voice

Came to this podcast after hearing about how Crime Junkie plagiarized material from Casefile. I can see why...Casefile has excellent reporting and cites their sources as background regularly!

Anyways, love the podcast. It’s more information based and dry than other true crime podcasts; I think that’s a strength. However, it may not be to some people’s tastes. Shows like My Favorite Murder have a much more conversational tone, whereas this feels more like reading an in-depth newspaper series on each case.

If you’re just getting into the podcast, I’d recommend the three part series on the Silk Road drug-trafficking website founder (episode is called Silk Road). It’s long, but incredibly interesting. It felt like both a biography and a serial drama, without feeling exploitative. Thought-provoking and gave a voice to all aspects of the story. I found myself on the edge of my seat for some cliffhangers into the next episode, which is rare for a podcast!

I hate when people talk absurd while telling a real incident. I love Casefile as the narration is so intriguing.
