Sam Ace Rothstein runs the Tangiers casino in Las Vegas for the bosses back home. For a man who bets on sure things, it all crumbles because of his long shot relationships with his wife Ginger, and his friend, the fearsome Nicky Santoro.
Casino was released 5 years after Goodfellas, but comparisons between the two saw Casino eclipsed for many years. Now, it’s coming out of the shadows, thanks to some great performances, and Scorsese on dizzying top form.
