Cat is the founder of the School of International Futures. During our podcast Cat explores with us what the future will be and how we can get there, providing practical guidance so that we can all get ready for the future we want.

Cat’s day job is to quite literally to get governments, civil society and businesses ready for the future. Her CV includes: Strategy Project Director at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and Senior Policy Adviser in the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. She is a member of United Nations Learning Advisory Council for the 2030 Agenda and has worked in strategy and international relations with organisations ranging from Christian Aid, to Procter and Gamble, the EU Commission, United Nations (UN) and the World Bank.

During our conversation Cat shares with us her thoughts on the future, the things she thinks we should all be preparing for. Get ready to hear about issues ranging from: the energy, dynamism and confidence with the African continent; intergenerational fairness; and movement towards a post carbon economy.
