In that same timeframe, the band has accumulated over 15 Million streams on Spotify alone and has been featured on multiple Rock and Metal Editorial Playlists. Their early-band rock/metal cover of Seal's "Kiss from a Rose" has garnered over 7 Million streams and named as one of the "greatest rock covers of the last two decades" by GUITAR WORLD MAGAZINE.

Their hook-filled blend of hard rock, pop, and an unmistakable foundation of metal and skate punk has established WAKE ME as a band that is continuing to evolve and expand their sound while turning the heads of fans of all genres.

The quartet now features the explosive Lead Vocals and guitars of Collin Sanford with original frontman Justin Ray stepping into lead guitar/backup vocal duty while the rhythm section is dominated by Travis "Tricky" Authier (Drums) and the mighty Carlos Martin (Bass).

WAKE ME has been carefully curating singles over the past 5 years with established and on-the-rise producers such as Erik Ron (Godsmack, Staind, Bush), Andrew Baylis (Jellyroll, VRSTY), Joey Bradford (The Used, Letterkills), and Hiram Hernandez (AILD, Word Alive).

For a rising star whose entertainment career is just taking off, Avery Mason’s credits are already impressive, having appeared in major television shows including The Punisher and Gotham.

Avery ultimately received his major break after landing the role of “Black Grimace” on the Starz hit television show Power, which became the second most watched television series on premium cable after Game of Thrones* He is also a stand up comic, podcaster, and well rounded family man. It was a great conversation with an even greater individual.

That span of time between 2019 to early 2024 doesn't feel *ALL* that long ago, but simultaneously feels like a lifetime.

Ryan Key is best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Yellowcard. He is the also the owner/operator of a recording studio in Jacksonville, Florida, called The Lone Tree Recordings. Wearing many hats, doing many projects (like his excellent Star Wars podcast- Thank The Maker,) he is no stranger to diversifying his interests and finding new ways to express himself. In this episode, we talk about Yellowcard's latest release- a collaboration album with the group Hammock called "A Hopeful Sign," and we discuss the simple pleasures of enjoying instrumental music as we get older.
