    So how does trust work? Trust is built on two major drivers - one is emotional, the other is experience. Just understanding this part alone gives us some insight on some things we do consistently to either build trust or tear it down.

    Things like integrity, attitude, focus and authenticity can be beneficial in building trust - but how can we take actionable steps to start building trust in all these facets? Sometimes, it's the idea of humility. Sometimes we get so caught up in our day to day lives that we all have to step back sometimes and realize it really isn't all about you. A lot of the time, it's the little things that can break trust. When a leader can exercise humility, they become more mindful and attentive to their relationships.

But that's okay, because the product pro himself is here to talk all about information products! Greg's going to share what it's like to launch a product; how to marketing and promote it; and his experiences with different types of product releases.

    Now, the biggest mistake people make when they're creating their information products is that their products are too generic. The best info products in the market today that sell well are centered around solving one problem, or around one big idea or transformation. Look at the Living Legend product we just launched with Dan Kennedy - it's centered around the core theme of customers becoming a legend in the their business. It focuses on people who want to build authority, credibility and want to become an expert in their marketplace. So the transformation people make in the product is that they are an average business owner, go through the formula, take action, and become a Legend in their marketplace.

    When it comes to creating a product, it's vital to hit all four learning styles. People learn in different ways, so why not make your product cover all of them? Here's an example - in the Living Legend Formula®, Nick and I teaching lessons on video. Then, we strip the audio for CD's. Then we transcribe it. Finally, we create an Action Guide (or a workbook) so people can take action. See that? They see, hear, read and write! All bases covered!

    Think about it - once you can start to get on stage and people see you, your positioning completely changes. People seek you out and see you as an expert. They want your advice. They want their picture with you. The impact that speaking can make in your business can be great - it is vital for climbing the ladder of credibility in your market!

    Now, what does it exactly mean to speak? Speaking  is meant to be a structured, deliberate manner intended to inform, influence, or entertain a listening audience. In the big picture, it's all about shortening the time it takes to make your sale. Your audience comes to get expert advice and they have certain expectations - with the mixture of the correct authority, credibility and positioning, you can help more and more people and gain more and more business and clients.

    So where do you even start? How do you get on that stage? What if you don't really have content or a platform yet? Nick and Greg will explain how to get up on the stage - whether it be in front of 10 people or 10,000 people - 3 minutes or 3 hours - and show you how to build your case to others to gain the opportunity to speak anywhere.

    Overall, all organizations will bring you in to speak for 2 reasons: They have a void of the content you teach and/or your name is a draw and will bring in money. If you can show all of that; if you have the social proof - you're more likely to get the gig!

    In this weeks episode, Greg and Nick cover the four costly mistakes that most business owners and entrepreneurs make.

    A lot of the time, business owners thinks it's only about the product or service that gauges how successful their business is. Even though that's partly true, it really boils down to you, who you are, and how you build a connection with your prospects. Studies show that over 90% of people who make their final purchasing decision base it off of the person or people they are buying from.

    How about your marketing efforts? It seems pretty common that a lot of business owners continue to buy the same bad marketing and advertising. It's the "well it didn't work last month, maybe it'll work this month" mindset. Sometimes you can get lucky, but the majority of the time, that's simply not true. What you really need to focus on is your media and direct marketing.

    Now, what about your story and brand - are you sharing your story in different mediums? It's not okay to just tell your story once, and just assume that everyone will hear it. You need to steadily continue to share your story as long as you want your business to be successful! Remember, as long as you can constantly share who you are, what you do, how you can help people and how people can reach you to learn more, you will always win.

    Finally, who do you surround yourself with? All the speakers that we had at the Expy® Awards - Kevin Harrington, Dan Kennedy, Brian Tracy and Nido Qubein - all say that the key to their success was a matter of who they surrounded themselves with. You don't want to spend time surrounding yourself in an in-congruent setting with what you desire.
