Customer ReviewsSee All
I look forward to each episode of this podcast and have listened for years. Here are some honest thoughts that I’ve had. It was called Championship Drive, then Campus Conversation, and now this. I do miss Ivan, Heather Dinich, Adam Rittenberg, Brad Edwards, etc. The writers made the best guests. I miss when the show was daily and I miss the preseason ‘car wash’ segments with coaches in August. I liked when Ryan McGee would visit—except when he constantly needed to remind listeners that he was from the south. Jake Trotter was a bit much. Of the hosts, Ivan was the best. Zubin was way too wordy. Matt Barrie was so-so. Matt Schick was very funny and entertaining. Kevin is doing OK, though he seems to be bullied by David Pollack, AKA Bro Country. You either like Pollock or you don’t. Herbie is classy and fair, like always. Pollock at times forgets that there are other areas of the country - besides the south—that are passionate and love college football and have teams that can perform. I do feel, however, that the Group of 5 schools are often ignored. The last time I checked, the power five and group of five teams were all division 1-A,or FBS. The show needs to show them a little love once in a while. At any rate, I do feel this is the best college football podcast out there. I am grateful for each new episode. Enjoy!
