Chapter 79-JetSetSarah Black Women Travel Podcast

    • Places & Travel

Truly hope you enjoy and are inspired by this week’s episode with Sarah.

In this chapter, Sarah, in her delightful accent, shares her first memories of traveling, and as our full-time Caribbean expert, her thoughts about traveling for leisure when the pandemic is not yet over, and considering the safety of the citizens of your destination if you have to travel for work. She discusses her philosophy behind how she shows up in the world, and the value of focusing on the good. Sarah talks about feeling good in her body, her iconic blue eyeliner and mascara, the importance of dressing to make a statement, and her hair journey from locs to a fro, and back to locs. She also gets into her experience when she was approaching 50 years of age, and how she’s been able to embrace herself. Sarah says it’s important to change what you can, share your gifts with the world, and hopes that people have been able to get more of a handle on that in the last year. She also shares with us a simple practice her therapist shared with her to invite more calm into her days.

Sarah would love to connect with you on Facebook, Twitter, or she’s really digging Instagram these days. And she’s just started a newsletter you can sign up for here.
