Bon Voyage

I've tried a lot of Star Trek podcasts, and Trekabout is the only one that's ever consistently held my attention. Unreservedly pointing out as many flaws as joys, listening to Richard and Eric is like discussing Trek with old friends long after your real friends have gotten sick of listening to you speculate about Bolian physiology. Thanks, guys. I'll miss you.

Great podcast!

The first Star Trek podcast I've subscribed to and exactly the kind of podcast I enjoy listening to. Love the dynamic with one host being a fan and another being new to the shows, which brings two unique perspectives to start interesting and fun conversations. I started with the Voyager episodes and was bummed to find out that it's been put on hiatus because I'm liking their commentaries on it so far, but there's the four previous Trek shows they've also covered so I'm just getting into those. Looking forward to those and more!

Very Nice Work

I got into Trekabout after Eric and Richard were on The Pensky Podcast and have really been enjoying it. Hearing the perspective of someone who hasn't watched the shows before combined with someone who has is a nice format. I've listened to all the TNG and DS9 reviews and am looking forward to getting into Voyager. There are just a couple of things I think could be improved on.

First, it would be nice to have a brief recap of what the episode is at the beginning. We’re not all great at episode titles, so just a sentence or two to explain the plot would help. Second, and I think this is getting better, but do please try not to interrupt each other so much. I like the loose discussion, but let the other person finish his sentence at least. That’s really it. There were some audio volume level issues in earlier episodes but those have been resolved. Keep up the good work!
