Thanksgiving Day, a holiday when families get together and celebrate life’s blessings with gratitude. However, many were unable to be with family members due the ongoing pandemic. Families have also been severely affected as they’ve lost members to the pandemic or by other means.
This is the 5th year of my cousin’s passing and I wanted to dedicate this episode in his honour. Being grateful and thankful that I got to know who he was for all the years he was alive. This isn't meant to be a sad episode. It's meant to offer some comfort during these hard times because some people might feel emotionally overwhelmed, sadness, and even guilt for not being there in the last hours of their loved one’s lives.
I sat down with my cousin (Kingsley) and we spoke for the first time about the loss of his brother, my cousin.
