Full of queer joy and fun

I have really loved listening to Taryn and Adam’s podcasts. They are both really genuine and talk about current issues in the queer community with a lot of intelligence and honesty. As a queer person close to their age, I can relate to a lot of the issues they cover and hearing their conversations has helped expand my own thinking. I’ve especially enjoyed when they talk about stories they’re working on and the few times they’ve done interviews. It’s lighthearted, fun, and at times really hilarious.

Episode 5

I’ve tried to be open to these two individuals struggle to find their “voice”. Each episode seems to get more ugly in their review of what LGBTQAI individuals struggled in their attempts to find others like themselves. Regularly the hosts belittle and shame the efforts of people 40-50 years ago to connect with others. Their shaming of people who lived life before some of the current rights and today’s broadening understanding of the complexity of all human beings is painful to hear. They seem ill informed about the struggle that many of their elders endured so they can make their flippant comments.

Insufferable

Give up & go back to Brooklyn. Why would anyone want to listen to boring idiots obsessing over themselves for hours? How is the reader still in business?
