“Chillingworth” recounts the lurid saga of the men behind the most notorious crime in Florida’s history: the grisly 1955 murder of a brilliant judge revered as an icon of integrity. Each of the three killers was horrifying enough on his own, but once they crossed racial lines to form an integrated criminal alliance, the state would never be the same. Their viciousness shook the faith Floridians had in their criminal justice system, the only institution they could trust to keep them safe.
The ten-episode podcast uncovers mesmerizing surveillance audio tapes that broke the case open, unheard in over half a century. “Chillingworth” is the first story in the captivating series, "Worst of Men".

This is a great podcast. Intriguing story, well-written and fantastic research. I really enjoyed it!
Way Over the Top!
The description of the podcast sounded really interesting and I couldn’t wait to dive in! It didn’t take long before the mood music and sound effects started to distract me from being able to listen to the story. I tried to hang in, hoping it was not part of the entire Podcast, but the host’s over dramatic telling of the crime just made it all too irritating to take. I lost interest before episode 1 ended.
Stumbled across this gem last week. Really interesting. Loved hearing the interviews and audiotape.
