Preparing me to be prepared!

I want to be ready to have an answer for the hope I have within me. I want to be prepared! I’m so glad I stumbled across this podcast. I have already learned so much and am feeling more equipped to defend my faith in a loving and respectful way. Thank you for helping us be prepared! (I don’t like coffee at all... but I love Jesus a whole lot!!!)

Quick question. Long story short. Had a talk with a friend who is in seminary. He is a believer in the work of the reformation project. Talked with him and the first place he went was the canon of scripture and how we interpret scripture. I’m a firm believer that the Bible is the word of God. And that it shouldn’t be added or subtracted. He however believes that it was a corrupt process and we can take scripture to change with the time. He believes that scripture doesn’t cover homosexuality because homosexuality was different in that day because of the Romans being homosexual in light worshiping sex god’s? I hadn’t heard that. Could you bring some insight to that and to the canon of scripture? It was a very interesting conversation
