How to navigate through our culture with a Biblical worldview
Charles Justice #17
How in the world can a typewriter collector and repairman lead to such a thought provoking life? As I sit down with Charles Justice, one of my most favorite people on this planet, I found out what makes this man tick. I couldn't help to investigate what drives him to excellence as he presses beyond his limitations to create his own journey. Not many of us think about leaving a body of work behind for the next generation. So in order to do this we talked about effectiveness vs our knowledge that is untested. Covering topics from Hollywood controlling the narrative of our worldview to strategies on how to protect your creativity from the daily grind. This might be the conversation you’re needing to start the new year. Enjoy!
Most people self-grade their Christian walk, but the real truth lies in our real life results. Here in this lecture, Pete Orta is forcing the audience to not evaluate what they know about the Bible, but how effective their knowledge is in the heat of battle. Enjoy!
Xlll Strikes Discipleship Training #15
Pete Orta in front of a live crowd speaking about the mindset we need in order to overcome the toughest test in the world, Christianity.
Willy Peters #14
Have you ever been excommunicated from your community because of the gospel? Meet my very good friend and brother Willy Peters, a Dutchman, who pulled his family out of the Mennonite faith in search of the true message that Jesus Christ preached. I believe this podcast is a must for every Christian, but if you are Mennonite, Amish, or Quaker, it could be vital to your salvation.
Jillian Williams #13
Sitting Volleyball Paralympian Jillian Williams kicked bone cancer’s butt and is now training for Tokyo 2020 Para Olympics. Listen in while this 2019 Parapan American Games gold medalist sits down with me to talk about her unexpected journey that the Lord is carrying her through. She truly is a champion! Enjoy
Gabe Hernandez #12
So I got to roll with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and 2019 Austin Open Champion, Gabe Hernandez. While I was in Lubbock Texas I took the opportunity to set up my mics at his gym (Base Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) and start up a conversation about how this sport is so good for the human spirit. We agreed on the benefits we gain when we train our minds to outlast our bodies. But what first caught my attention, and why I wanted to do this podcast, was the culture this dude has built within his gym. I asked him to give us advice for every belt color he experienced so that there is something in it for all of us. My hope for this podcast is to expose more people to the advantages that this gentle art has to offer. So if life is paralyzing you, go to your local gym, and keep that vessel movin’ with BJJ! Don’t quit, don’t lose confidence! Oss!
Deep conversation with interesting people!
This podcast is like sitting on the couch listening to two great friends catching up! The content and topics are amazing, I can’t wait for more!
Pete Orta will definitely give you food for thought! His podcasts are a must for listeners. The very first one on personalities is like sitting in a coffee shop listening in on a conversation. It will make you want to know more about the different personalities. I am looking forward to the upcoming conversations on other topics!
Life changing knowledge!!!
Gosh, this podcast is so valuable. It gives you deep insight about how people function - why they are so weird, piss you off, or you get along like how you make decision based on an innate set of cognitive functions everyone is distinctly born with!!! I‘m serious... if you are frustrated with people, you need to listen to this!!! Even learn for yourself. Discover what your blindspots are and why you behave the way you do!
