Christiane Amanpour Presents: The Ex Files

World-renowned journalist Christiane Amanpour and ex-husband Jamie Rubin, a former US State Department official, unpack today’s defining global crises. Drawing on decades of insider experience in global affairs, reporting from conflict zones, and grilling world leaders, they explain how we ended up where we are – and where we might be going. Forget about a new world order – right now, there’s no world order. From Trump and Putin to the war in Ukraine, China’s global rise, and chaos in the Middle East, geopolitics has never been more dangerous or unpredictable. The Ex Files provides unparalleled insight into the issues keeping world leaders, and the rest of us, awake at night. With searing honesty, jaw-dropping stories, and candid humour, this is the foreign policy podcast for our fractured age. They’re no longer married, but when it comes to current affairs, Christiane and Jamie still finish each other’s sentences. For advertising opportunities on this podcast email: dax@global.com

I just started listening to the podcast, after learning about it during Christiane's interview on Jon Stewart's podcast. I'm absolutely loving it. Conversations between two wildly intelligent people who know each other and have so many fascinating shared experiences. I'm loving it.
Love it!

I have always appreciated Christiane. I didn’t know Jamie Rubin though until I started listening to this podcast. I am really enjoying their conversations. They are informative and fun. Another reviewer mentioned this, but Christiane’s laugh is great and I love hearing it. She shows a fun side that I never noticed on TV before. Thank you!
Genuine and thoughtful

I’ve always admired Christiane and was intrigued by the setup to politically conscious and horribly partners who have shared so much together. I find their conversations help me understand on a macro and a micro level when I myself have been married for many decades. I also I am struck by how often relevance to my own life pops up. For example, I am also reading the recent biography of Pamela Harriman and I heartily recommended it!
